Sanare A.S. signed the patent in July 2007. The patent is currently registered at the Norwegian Patent Office under the number WO/2009/014450. The content of the patent is including the sequence of the twelve bioactive oligopeptides and their application against cancer cells. The patent also includes the method of harvesting bioactive changes from the blood after acupuncture treatments using proteomics for sequencing.
